Turnovers are operations. Dial in your SOPs, par levels, and team flow, and you unlock same‑day bookings, stable 5‑star cleanliness scores, and less stress during peak weeks.

Core Operating Targets

  • 2–4 br homes: 3 hours per turnover (two pros).
  • QC: 100% completion of final checklist with time‑stamped photos.
  • Inventory: Never below par on linens, toiletries, and paper goods.

Pre‑Arrival Staging

  • Fresh linens folded and ready; amenities pre‑counted.
  • Cart/caddy loaded with surface‑appropriate cleaners and labelled microfibers.

Optimal Cleaning Sequence

  1. Strip all beds; start laundry immediately.
  2. Collect trash/dishes; start dishwasher.

Bathrooms

  • Time‑stamped photos for kitchens, bathrooms, and beds.
  • Notify host with a brief completion note and any issues found.

Seasonal Adjustments

  • Winter: Mudroom and floor protection; hot tub testing; humidifiers filled.
  • Summer: Patio/BBQ cleaning; window screens; extra glass cleaning for pollen.
